Role Overview:

Position:SEN Teacher for KS4

Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: £31,650 - £43,607 per annum

Job type: Full time

Start Date: Immediate

As an SEN Teacher for Key stage 4, you will create tailored learning experiences that empower students with special needs to overcome challenges and reach their potential. You'll foster an inclusive environment, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs, and collaborate with parents and professionals to track progress. Your role will not only focus on academic development but also on building confidence and independence in each student, celebrating their successes along the way.

Your role includes:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and individualized lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of your students.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including therapists, support staff, and parents, to create a holistic support system for each student.
  • Utilize your expertise in SEN to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters growth and independence.
  • Be a champion for your students, advocating for their needs and celebrating their achievements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS or PGCE holder
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Able to provide 2 professional references
  • Previous experience handling SEN children and young people
  • Strong communication skills and behaviour management
  • Genuine interest in supporting SEN children
