We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our dedicated on-site provision, working with two students who have an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) diagnosis. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of these students, providing them with the tailored support and teaching they need to succeed in a nurturing environment.

You will work closely with an experienced team of Teaching Assistants who will support you in delivering the curriculum and managing the classroom. The position requires someone who is able to plan, implement, and adapt lessons to suit the individual needs of the students, ensuring they have every opportunity to engage and learn. Strong knowledge of ASD and experience in supporting children with additional needs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with ASD
  • Work closely with the SEND team and Teaching Assistants to provide consistent support
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the child’s education
  • Monitor and track student progress, implementing adjustments to teaching strategies as needed
