As a leading?accommodation provider Fresh are excited to be recruiting a Senior Maintenance Technician for the 816-bed student accommodation scheme, Metalworks based in Bedminster.

About the role: 

This role offers full time hours of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis. There is an opportunity to discuss the details further during the interview. Site operational hours are between 8am?and 8pm.

You will be working?part of a close-knit team and will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the building and associated facilities, ensuring that all systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained to a high standard. The role also involves managing a Maintenance Technician, coordinating with external contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining key building systems. The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the smooth operation of the building, focusing on preventive maintenance and timely repairs while managing resources effectively.

As we work in our residents’ living spaces, you’ll need to be a good communicator who always demonstrates professionalism and can ensure discretion and diplomacy when needed, including maintaining confidentiality regards recording sensitive information. 

About you:

We’re looking for an outgoing person who has a strong background in maintenance management with hands-on experience in both planned and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate must be confident in leading a team, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential to ensure efficient operations.
