Salary: £45-£65K depending on experience

Role Summary:
My client is looking for a dedicated Site Auditor to champion safety and compliance across their sites. This hands-on role involves performing site audits, identifying hazards, and ensuring all practices meet regulatory standards. Youll play a crucial part in risk management, compliance checks, and fostering a safety-first culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Audits

    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices, equipment, and overall site conditions.
    • Identify hazards, audit PPE usage, and ensure signage and safety measures align with standards.
  2. Compliance & Risk Management

    • Perform audits based on legal and industry standards, document any non-compliances, and recommend improvements.
    • Carry out risk assessments and work with site teams to mitigate potential hazards.
  3. Training & Awareness

    • Deliver on-site coaching and training on health and safety protocols, supporting continuous learning through toolbox talks and briefings.
  4. Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain clear, detailed records of audit findings and corrective actions.
    • Generate reports for senior management, outlining site conditions and recommending improvements.
  5. Incident Investigation

    • Support investigations of incidents and near-misses, providing root cause analysis and strategies for incident prevention.
Qualifications
  • Education:NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years in site auditing or compliance.
  • Skills:Strong observational and communication skills, proficiency in H&S software, and the ability to work independently.

Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel across sites, a valid drivers license, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
