Job Title:Workshop Controller
Pay:£31K
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am til 6pm (1 hour lunch)
Every other Saturday 8am til 1pm
Sky Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bristol. You will be working closely with the technicians to oversee all repair work to ensure it is completed to a high standard.
Job duties of Workshop Controller
- To ensure service and repairs are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure customer satisfaction.
- To ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and labour resources.
- To control and supervise staff in the use of equipment and tools.
- To ensure jobs are fairly and correctly allocated to technicians and mechanics.
- To supervise MOT tests and ensure correct use of equipment and document security.
- To ensure all job sheets are correctly written up and forwarded for pricing.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Workshop Managerial role.
- The ability to supervise a Labour force.
- The ability to maintain personal technical knowledge and skills.
- NVQ Level 3, Vehicle Mechanical and Electronic Systems - Maintenance and Repair.
- Good work ethic.
- Ideally able to drive.
- Flexible with weekend work.
