Our client is looking for Production Planner to join their growing team. They are a global leader in fluid and gas system solutions, known for its high-quality products and services that support various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing and powder generation.

Key Responsibilities-Production Planner

  • Execute jobs at specific times across manufacturing sites while tracking job performance and customer requirements
  • Determine optimal manufacturing timelines to enhance efficiency and prevent stockouts, balancing inputs and outputs effectively
  • Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules, adjusting as necessary to align with operational goals
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to establish schedules that allocate resources effectively to meet client demands
  • Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory, using judgment to anticipate demand and acquire additional supplies as needed
  • Integrate sales orders with the master schedule, coordinating the availability of raw materials, equipment, and personnel to meet delivery timelines
  • Produce weekly management reports outlining key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance

Qualifications & Requirements – Production Planner

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or a similar role
  • Highly literate in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
  • Strong inventory management skills, with the ability to analyse requirements versus inventory positions
  • LEAN or other relevant qualifications are preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
