Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30

Bence is a market leader in the design and build of mobiles for NHS and Private Healthcare providers such as Breast Screening Clinics, MRI and CT units; mobile Command Centres, Fire Appliances and Incident Welfare Centres for the Emergency Services as well as Hospitality Suites, Race Car Transporters and bespoke mobile projects for Corporate and Private Clients.

In business for over 40 years this family run business, employing over 100 people, has a friendly but busy sites.

Due to increased workloads, and operating from 4 sites in Yate, WH Bence is looking to recruit a Floor Fitter to join the Production Team.

Floor Fitter- The Role:

Your daily tasks will include fitting flooring in a range of medical and emergency service vehicles, working on both new and existing vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Production workshop hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30.

Floor Fitter - You:

- A full UK driving licence is essential

- Experience in fitting vinyl flooring, screeding/feathering floors, cap and cove knowledge, and welding joints

- Previous experience in a similar role or trade

- Good general wood, metal, and fabrication skills (training provided for the right candidate)

- Ability to work to a high standard independently or as part of a team

- Strong practical, hands-on skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Professional approach to handling various tasks

- Awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment

- Positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to train and learn new skills

- Physically capable of lifting items regularly due to the nature of the role

- The ideal candidate will have time served or qualification fitting flooring
