We're looking for a Programming & Partnerships Manager to join our team here at Tyntesfield.Â
This roles sits within the Visitor Operations and Experience team and involves leading across programming, partnerships and children & young people engagement. Occasional weekend working will be required to support the delivery of events and the operation. This will be at least one weekend each month
This role is required to work with vulnerable groups including children and any offer of employment or volunteering is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
What it's like to work hereTyntesfield is part of the Children and Young People Network which is made up of 19 National Trust Children and Young People (CYP) Hubs across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Â
The CYP Hubs were set up to support and develop opportunities for children and young people at our places as part of the National Trust’s Everyone Welcome ambition. The aim is to foster a feeling of welcome and belonging for children (0-11 years) and young people (12-25 years) at our places through quality engagement opportunities that overcome barriers, have mutual benefit and amplify youth voice (from feedback to power sharing). Delivery of these aims is through visitor experience, schools and family programming, young staff and volunteers, community engagement, youth forums and targeted projects.
Managed by and working closely with the Visitor Operations and Experience Manager, you'll lead on and deliver the children and young people work, particularly the work experience programme, family programming and community partnership work aimed at reaching more diverse children.Â

What you'll be doing In this role, you'll lead the Children & Young People and Programming workstreams, helping to set the strategic direction for these areas in alignment with the broader property business plan. You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the work experience program within the Bristol portfolio. You'll also work with your programming and partnerships team to create and deliver high-quality programming events.ÂA key part of this role involves developing community partnerships and organising activities aimed at achieving our goals for children and young people, especially reaching those with limited access. You'll also collaborate with other teams across the site to plan and implement activities for children and young people, advocating for and embedding our priorities for this demographic throughout the property. You'll also manage a team of children and young people volunteers to support the delivery of these initiatives.

-Experience of working with and commissioning external agencies, contractors and organisations
-Strong leadership skills including coaching, team development, motivation, communication and setting strategic direction
