  • The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter, passionate about health and wellbeing, and capable of multi-tasking effectively.

Our client has an opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join them on a 3-6 month contract. The role will support the team in delivering a best practice health & wellbeing, health risk management (OH) service to employees.

Role: Occupational Health Nurse
Location: Bristol
Hours: 2,3 or 4 days per week across Monday-Thursday
Clearance: BPSS required to start. UK Eyes Only due to project
Hourly Rate: Up to 35ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering a proactive face to face technical function involving, health surveillance, health pre employment assessments, fitness assessments, lifestyle screening and health & wellbeing campaigns
  • Delivering a proactive face to face lifestyle health screening and health & wellbeing promotion

Requirements:

  • An NMC Registered Nurse - Essential
  • Experienced OH Nursing setting - Essential
  • Phlebotomy skills - essential
  • Experienced in Spirometry and audiometry (formally trained- essential)
  • Travel health vaccinations experience - essential
  • Passionate about health & wellbeing
  • ECG skills - desirable - training can be given
  • A self-starter - to succeed in this role, you need to be proactive, organised and able to multi-task well
