We are working with a leading developer and manufacturer for the Semi-conductor industry. They have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability, Health & Safety Manager to join their team in Bristol. 

 

The Sustainability, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Take ownership of the development, implementation, and management of the site sustainability strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Divisional and Business Area Sustainability teams
  • Manage the site sustainability program, ensuring alignment with global standards & Global/local organisational goals.
  • Regularly report on progress against the site sustainability roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the internal audit plan and process in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, working towards an integrated SHEQ approach.

 

The Sustainability, Health & Safety Manager will have:

  • Level 6 Diploma or degree level in Occupational health and safety or chartered membership of IOSH.
  • Able to demonstrate success in leading a climate change and decarbonisation strategies with knowledge of setting and reporting on science-based targets.
  • Experience of leading a programme of projects focused on carbon reduction, waste reduction, water usage and bio-diversity.
  • Membership of professional body IEMA, IOSH.
