We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Economics and Business Teacher to join a dynamic team on a full-time temporary basis, starting from 6th January 2025. This role will cover until mid-February 2025, with the possibility of extension depending on the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons for A-Level Economics and BTEC Business, with a predominant focus on Economics.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing coursework and exams in line with curriculum requirements.
- Supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
- Collaborating with department colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.
- PGCE qualified (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Confident and experienced in teaching A-Level Economics and BTEC Business.
- Knowledgeable of the curriculum requirements for both subjects, with an emphasis on Economics.
- Passionate about helping students succeed and achieve their potential.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
