The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a graduate with a strong educational background, including GCSEs in Maths and English (4 or above).
  • Have experience working with children (preferred but not essential). Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, working in a nursery, or coaching in a sports setting.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about contributing to children's education.
  • Commit to the role for the full academic year

Your role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will involve supporting numeracy and literacy within Key Stage 1/2 and ensuring each child achieves their learning objectives for each lesson.

There are also extensive opportunities to support children with Special Educational Needs if this aligns with your interests and passions.
