Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver high-quality, creative, and inspiring teaching across Level 3 Applied Science and Level 2 Climate Change and Sustainability courses.
- Address the diverse needs of the 16-18 student cohort, ensuring that teaching methods cater to various learning styles.
- Focus on maximising student retention, achievement, and overall success.
- Work collaboratively with managers and colleagues to design, develop, manage, and review curriculum programmes.
- Engage fully with the College’s Mission and Values, ensuring these principles are central to all working practices.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through effective communication and regular feedback.
- Meet individual learner needs through an inclusive learning approach, providing an outstanding student experience.
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field, with a strong understanding of Applied Sciences.
- Experience in teaching Chemistry at secondary or tertiary level, preferably with experience in curriculum development.
