Zen Educate are currently looking to take on a number of suitable candidates to take on either flexible or long term teaching assistant roles in either secondary or special needs schools. This will be mostly supporting students on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that they feel supported in their learning journey and engaged.

Working hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday and term time only.

What are we looking for;

- Interest in working with children is a must and especially those with special needs.

- Lots of empathy, understanding, patience and resilience. Children come with all sorts of behaviours, so its important that the right candidates can handle the daily challenges that students can bring.

- Willing to get involved and be flexible to the needs of the school. The best people are those that will get stuck in and also help students other than those they normally are assigned to.

- Happy to undertake all the online training that is assigned before taking on work.

- Willing to obtain a DBS check to be put on the update service.

So whether you are a parent with personal experience with special needs, or have done work as an au pair or summer school work. Get in touch today to see what we can do for you.
