We are excited to partner with one of the UK's largest housing associations to recruit a Multi-Skilled Carpenter for a 3-month contract based in Bristol. This role involves working on void properties, carrying out essential repairs to ensure they are ready for re-letting. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter who also has experience in general residential repairs.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Carry out carpentry repairs and other multi-trade tasks within residential properties.
- Ensure all repairs and installations are completed to a high standard, in line with safety regulations and within agreed timelines.
- Work efficiently on void properties to prepare them for re-letting, ensuring all tasks are completed to meet the housing association's standards.
- Drive to various locations within Bristol as required, with a van provided for work purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in carpentry, with main trade skills in this area.
- Experience in carrying out a range of residential repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid UK driving license.
