Role Overview

We’re looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site in Swindon- Bristol - Westbury

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

You’ll oversee cleaning and associated duties for the team and make sure tasks are carried out to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
  • Ensure the internal of trains are cleaned to the required specification, in accordance with Health and Safety compliance.
  • Ensure standards of cleaning meet or exceed the required standard.
  • Oversee and delegate cleaning tasks in accordance with agreed procedures which include litter picking, removing unauthorised stickers, cleaning and replenishing toilets and toiletries, and all surfaces to be free from any obvious marks, staining & smearing, i.e., trinket trays, door panels, bulkheads, panels, bodyside panels, all roof areas etc. Hard floors are to be washed and free from any gum, stains, graffiti, spillages etc. within a timeframe
  • To be always polite, professional, and friendly with customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support
  • Managing the ordering of stock and consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
  • You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.
