The Role:

On behalf of our client we are seeking a People and Talent Assistant to support them on a 3-6 month contract. Supporting the HR team you will get involved with the growing People Team covering the full employee lifecycle for the UK and the US. You will be the first point of contact covering the administrative queries and guidance on the employee lifecycle through management of efficient processes from recruiting to offboarding and everything in between. Working on project such as documentation creation and management, benefits administration and reviewing and introduction, probation, attendance management, and performance management. You will be responsible for all the administration and will include employee documentation, process completion, employee data management, invoice management, GDPR task management, recruitment, interview and diary management.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the People team with the process of recruitment, co-ordination of approvals, job descriptions and documentation, through to sourcing, coordinating and attending interviews and taking notes.
  • Recruitment posting vacancy on social media and job boards, initial sifting of candidates, diary management, interview documentation, etc.
  • Agency contract documentation.
  • Co-ordinating vetting/background checks.
  • Supporting with employee onboarding and induction management. Supporting with presentation review and updates.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the People Team.
  • Compiling and maintaining digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sick leave. Reporting on triggers and KPIs
  • Ensuring all resourcing and people data is maintained accurately
  • Supporting annual and monthly activities and administration - probation, performance, pay reviews, bonuses, etc.
  • Compliance tasks - GDPR cleansing, Process review and completion
  • Administering monthly payroll and assisting with any payroll connected employee documentation.
  • Managing probation, including tracking, reminders and supporting letters
  • Supporting People-related training programs, workshops and seminars.

The Person:

For this role our client is seeking someone who has gained HR administration experience already. It’s essential you have super people skills, great attention to detail and ideally a HR qualification. This is joining a busy team who are growing whilst they recruit for someone permanently. In additional to HR experience they also need the following skills:

  • Works well under pressure and to set deadlines.

The Salary:

£25 - 28,000
