Job Title: HR Advisor – Bristol area
Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
A rapidly growing engineering organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day people operations, assisting managers, and enhancing administrative processes.
Our client is looking for a people-focused HR Advisor who thrives on building strong relationships across the business. As a trusted HR professional, you will provide support and guidance to managers, ensuring best practices in people management and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on people management activities, policies, and procedures, supporting continuous improvements in line with business needs.
- Support and administrate all stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulatory requirements, staying up to date with employment law changes, including GDPR.
- Assist with recruitment activities, working alongside external agencies and hiring managers to attract and select top talent.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive integration for new employees.
- Assist in reviewing and improving administrative processes to enhance efficiency through the HR system.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to drive strategic improvements.
- Guide and support line managers in handling ER-related issues effectively.
Requirements & Experience:
- Demonstrable HR experience, with exposure to process improvement and HR systems.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent by experience.
- Confidence in advising managers and handling low-level ER casework.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and a solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience assisting with recruitment activities and ensuring a great candidate experience.
- HR system literate, with the ability to optimise and streamline processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
