HR Advisor - Bristol area

Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

A rapidly growing engineering organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day people operations, assisting managers, and enhancing administrative processes.

Our client is looking for a people-focused HR Advisor who thrives on building strong relationships across the business. As a trusted HR professional, you will provide support and guidance to managers, ensuring best practices in people management and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on people management activities, policies, and procedures, supporting continuous improvements in line with business needs.
  • Support and administrate all stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulatory requirements, staying up to date with employment law changes, including GDPR.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, working alongside external agencies and hiring managers to attract and select top talent.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive integration for new employees.
  • Assist in reviewing and improving administrative processes to enhance efficiency through the HR system.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to drive strategic improvements.
  • Guide and support line managers in handling ER-related issues effectively.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Demonstrable HR experience, with exposure to process improvement and HR systems.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent by experience.
  • Confidence in advising managers and handling low-level ER casework.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and a solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience assisting with recruitment activities and ensuring a great candidate experience.
  • HR system literate, with the ability to optimise and streamline processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
