As Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing your own profile of customer accounts and you will ensure that they always receive a personable and tailored service delivery to build loyalty, ensure repeat business and enable all jobs to run efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and manage a personal portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring you deliver a tailored and personable service that builds customer loyalty
- Ensure repeat business by enabling all jobs to run efficiently and correctly.
- Drive GP growth by identifying new customer opportunities across multiple product lanes and securing ongoing shipments.
- Providing and following up quotes directly with customers.
- Building close relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have clear profit margins on all accounts and jobs, maximising these wherever possible.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in road, air or/and sea freight is essential
- Previous account management experience building own client portfolio
- Good understanding of UK transport and freight forwarding
- The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone and in person with a broad range of individual
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong competency with Microsoft excel
- High IT literacy skills
