DevOps Engineer

£60,000 - £75,000

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation as a DevOpS Engineer. The successful candidate will join a small, agile team responsible for delivering and maintaining global services that support award-winning products. This role focuses on automating platforms, deploying secure and reliable services, and collaborating with developers to adopt modern technologies and champion DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain secure Azure PaaS/IaaS environments.
Build and maintain deployment pipelines as code using Azure DevOps.
Ensure service availability and respond to system alerts/outages.
Develop tools to support platform and applications.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines for new and existing services.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement.
Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality automated services.
Mentor team members and other teams to support services.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Azure and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/ArgoCD).
Strong background with Linux/Windows VMs and scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI).
Familiarity with observability tools (OTEL, Grafana, Prometheus) and cloud networks (DNS, firewall).
Knowledge of cloud platform security and web servers (IIS/Nginx).
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
SaaS experience is a plus.
