If you are an experienced Technical Consultant with experience as an OCDEA, then this may be the opportunity for you! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to become part of a Small, successful, and growing sustainability consultancy that is recruiting an experienced Technical Consultant who can hit the ground running while working from a fully remote position.

The Ideal Technical Consultant will:

  • Have an eye for detail
  • Be client facing
  • Be a qualified OCDEA
  • Be able to develop relationships with clients and other members of staff
  • Ideally gave experience writing sustainability reports and strategies
  • Have experience and working knowledge of planning and Part L building regulations

Job responsibilities of the Technical Consultant:

  • Provision of SAP assessments and EPCs to ensure our clients achieve compliance with Part L and EPCs are issued in a timely manner
  • Providing expert and professional advice to construction professionals on products, systems and applications within the built environment
  • Producing Fabric heat loss calculations such as U-values and thermal bridging
  • Heat and moisture analysis
  • Energy assessments of new-build dwellings using the 'Standard Assessment Procedure' and the 'Future Homes Standard: Home Energy Model'.
