About the Role
We are seeking an Applications Manager to oversee a portfolio of corporate and administrative IT services, ensuring their operational excellence, security, and alignment with strategic objectives.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality digital solutions, maintaining service performance, and driving innovation to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT applications and services teams, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Monitor service performance against SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
- Support budget planning and financial management for the applications portfolio.
- Develop and implement digital strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Manage third-party suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks, including disaster recovery planning for critical applications.
- Lead complex, high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience managing IT applications and service delivery in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate applications, IT security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in strategic planning.
- ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent knowledge).
