About the client:This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Engineer to join an already established, growing Managed Service Provider based in Bristol. They are looking to add a motivated IT Project Engineer to the team, to use and expand their current expertise, whilst providing excellent service to their large, diverse client base. My client are experts in Azure, Cloud and Microsoft 365, providing IT Solutions to SME, corporate and finance organisations.

The IT Project Engineer role:
- You will serve as a technical escalation point for the IT service desk and collaborating with technical architects to design, build, and implement IT systems, including:
- Cloud deployments
- On-premise and cloud servers
- Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS solutions
- Professional services installations
- This position requires a broad skill set, as you will act as the most senior escalation point for the service desk. Expertise in Azure platform and cloud technologies is essential.
- You will hold a senior position within the company, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise. You will play a key role in technology deployment and resolve critical issues during major outages to expedite resolution.
IT Project Engineer - Essential Skills:
- Previous experience held in an MSP environment
- Strong experience in Azure and Microsoft 365
- Strong technical experience of Microsoft Server operating systems, Microsoft core applications, such as Exchange, Domain Services
- Strong skills supporting Microsoft AD, DNS and Remote Desktop Services
- Experience supporting network related technologies and equipment
- Strong skills diagnosing & resolving client application, connectivity, and hardware-based incidents
- Exposure to Hyper-V and vSphere virtualisation technologies
- Exposure to backup and DR technologies
- Relevant Azure Certification (Advantageous)
