ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world class motion simulation business seeking to expand its operations team. Please note that this is not a technical position, you don’t need to be an engineer in order to apply!

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Project Manager, it’s a brand new position due to expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business which are working some of the biggest F1 and motorsport companies.

The Project Manager will have the opportunity to be an influencing figure within the company, with exposure to every project. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects on time; not only meeting safety and compliance requirements, but also the technical and budgetary specification. Key duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Working within a team of technical experts who specialise in the design, build and commissioning of world class motion simulators.
  • You will be responsible for assuring that all projects deliver safe equipment that satisfies all of the requirements.
  • Managing multiple projects utilising the appropriate systems, processes and resources to facilitate optimal delivery.
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, and agreeing accountabilities and responsibilities with the wider project team
  • Coordinate and communicate project scope, identify dependencies and understand the critical path to secure timely project delivery

Essential Skills & experience:

  • This is not a technical position, we do not require someone who is a qualified engineer.
  • A degree qualification is preferred.
  • In depth understanding of Project Management fundamentals
  • Desirable: Experience of working within an engineering company in a non- technical project management / project coordinator position
  • Understanding or experience of software, hardware or simulation projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • A logical approach to approaching tasks and solving problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaboration and Engagement skills
