Job Title: Application Security Architect

Rate: £550-£600 outside IR35

Location: Bristol (Remote, once a month in the office)

Job Type: 6 month contract

About Us: We are looking for a highly skilled Application Security Architect to join our team in a leading and innovative financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in our security initiatives and drive the development of secure solutions across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Leadership in Security Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of security plans and roadmaps, ensuring the application of best practices in security architecture.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the wider architect community and business stakeholders to identify key security requirements, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Community Engagement: Actively participate in the broader architecture community within the organization, sharing best practices and providing insights to improve security outcomes.
• Solution Design: Design secure solutions as part of enterprise-wide projects and programs, ensuring they meet both business and security requirements.

Skills Required:

• Security Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in Security Architecture and Application Security, with a deep understanding of security principles and practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background across multiple security domains, with familiarity in cloud security standards, particularly in a DevSecOps environment.
• Agile/DevSecOps Experience: Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps frameworks, with a focus on integrating security into the development process.
• Information Security Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Architectural concepts and best practices for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex security issues to stakeholders at all levels across the organization, acting as a security subject matter expert.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage experience to develop pragmatic solutions and resolve complex security issues.
• Salesforce Experience (Desirable): Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce OmniStudio is highly desirable
