Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the administration and management of Enterprise Applications, including Sharepoint, AD, Dynamics and Entra
  • Ensure all applications and systems are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with licensing agreements.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, implementing changes and upgrades as necessary.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to present data in a visual and understandable manner.
  • Maintain responsibility for the ownership and operational health of various tech services and tools.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies, particularly Azure and Databricks, to enhance system capabilities.
  • Administer and manage Databricks within the Azure environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Azure administration and managing enterprise applications like SharePoint, Dynamics, and AD.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
  • Experience with ITIL V3 or V4 frameworks.
  • Technical proficiency in managing and securing applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer and stakeholder engagement

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in Databricks administration and management of Databricks within the Azure environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
