Digital Solution Architect Banking Bristol- lending Cards

This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a Solution Architect to join a thriving Banking client in Bristol as they expand their Software Solution Architecture team.

  • Location: Bristol - 2 or 3 days in the office and 2 days home working hybrid

This is a great time to join as the bank are investing heavily in their software architecture platform. We're keen to move towards our target state with a cloud first (private and public) approach in our hosting strategy and to transform our systems from monolith to microservices whilst decommissioning our legacy estate.

The business area is lending, focused specifically on lending, loans and cards so any experience in this area would be useful.

As an experienced Solution Architect, you'll work collaboratively alongside other Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Product Owners and Engineering team within platform. To help us define and design solution architecture that unlocks and builds opportunities to deliver excellent customer journeys and business outcomes, whilst meeting our strategic goals.

What we need from you:

We need a Solution Architect who understands the challenges of modern architecture and builds a compelling strategic vision and will understand a wide array of technology implications including people and process, bringing this to your integrated view of design.

Experience we're looking for:

  • Experience as a solution architect
  • Business knowledge of lending, focused specifically on lending, loans and cards so any experience in this area would be useful.
  • Experience in digital solutions and/ or software digital development projects
