The Role:
Join a scale-up digital transformation consultancy.
They are currently seeking a Solution Architect / Technical Architect to join their fast-growing team.
This will be a mixture of remote working, office working and visits to client sites in South England.
Responsibilities:
- Design architectures to integrate systems into modern solutions, ensuring scalability and interoperability.
- Provide expert guidance on using systems for critical applications and high-performance workloads, advising on best practices and architecture.
- Lead the integration of systems with cloud platforms, new applications, and other enterprise systems for data flow and security.
- Identify and mitigate risks in system integration and infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Create clear technical documentation and effectively communicate design decisions and security protocols to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience with AWS and Azure and integrating cloud platforms with on-prem systems.
- Experience in solution design and architecture, integrating systems with modern solutions for scalability, security, and interoperability.
- Expertise in guiding business-critical applications and high-performance workloads, with knowledge of technology stacks and best practices.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance regulations.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate design decisions to all stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and aligning architecture with development roadmaps.
