About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Systems Configuration Analyst to join our dynamic Clinical Systems Team based at Edward Jenner Court. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality clinical services through the configuration, optimization, and support of our clinical systems.In this fixed-term role, you'll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure our clinical systems meet operational requirements and deliver seamless patient care.The successful candidate will liaise with system users, provide high quality advice and support to Trust staff & carry out system configuration changes contributing to the overall improvement in clinical systems. They will need to quickly develop sound expertise in some of our Clinical Systems e.g. RiO, SystmOne, IAPTus Soel Health & Lilie and will be fully supported to do this.The role will also support the wider Clinical Systems Team across the areas of Change, Development and Second Line support by undertaking clearly defined tasks & responding to adhoc queries. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support clinical systems to align with operational needs.
- Analyse system requirements and translate these into effective configurations.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure system usability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure efficient use of the systems.
- Document configuration processes, system updates, and user feedback to contribute to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForTo excel in this role, you'll need:
- Experience: Proven track record in configuring or supporting clinical systems or related IT systems.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Understanding of clinical workflows and familiarity with information governance and data security standards.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
