Interim MS Sharepoint Specialist Immediately Required

Our client, a well-respected NHS organisation in Bristol, is looking for a Microsoft Sharepoint Specialist to come on board on a temporary contract to assist with the transition to a modern Sharepoint.

Location: Bristol

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Length of Contract: Open ended

Daily Rate: Band 8a (Negotiable) – Outside IR35

Day to Day Duties:

  • Work package to support the Trust to manage Trusts exit from reliance of SharePoint 2007 and transfer to modern SharePoint
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions
  • Work with Directorates to customise SharePoint Online (including lists, libraries, pages, and forms) to meet user and business requirements
  • Train and support staff in the use of SharePoint, Power Apps, and other relevant technologies.
  • Maintain documentation for developed solutions, ensuring that processes are clear and repeatable
  • Present complex and sensitive information to staff groups at all levels in the organisation
  • Required to obtain agreement or co-operation - developed persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training, empathic and re-assurance skills are required
  • Communicate service issues to a wide range of internal and external staff groupings, guiding them to a certain course of action by conveying concepts clearly
  • Develop and deliver formal, complex presentations to meetings and staff groups
  • Ensure that developments are in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, in particular around application/data security and Information Governance
  • Attend and participate at various groups/meetings, including regular internal meetings programme board meetings

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience managing MS Sharepoint or MS Office 365 transformation projects
  • Experience of working in an NHS environment is highly desirable
