Workday Consultant

Hybrid - Bristol

Contract £500 + per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking a Workday Consultant to enhance our HR platform, focusing on leveraging data to improve workforce planning and integration with other systems. This role involves developing and configuring new dashboards, ensuring data security and usability, and leading the enhancement of our reporting capabilities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the development and configuration of new dashboards, focusing on secure and digestible data usage across the HCM suite.
  • Perform data cleansing, maintain dashboards, and act as the go-to expert for Workday reporting.
  • Create, manage, and enhance the company’s reporting catalogue, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining interactive dashboards.
  • Build relationships with customers and the wider HR team to deliver solutions that are aligned with our needs and commercially viable.
  • Recommend solutions based on requirements and timeframes, with the flexibility to adapt scope as needed.
  • Guide the company through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and business requirements.
  • Support and share knowledge with the current team, enhancing overall expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to assess needs, build relationships, and manage expectations.
  • Strong ability to work under tight deadlines and balance customer requirements.
  • Proficient in communicating complex functionality and solutions.
  • Experience leading functional workstreams from discovery through to implementation.
  • Skills in continuous improvement of tools and processes.
  • Ability to translate complex problems into IT software requirements.
Experience:
  • Workday Pro certification or equivalent training in Report Writer, HCM, and Business Processes.
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights is advantageous for integrating data.
  • Extensive knowledge of Workday report writing capabilities and functionality.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimising a large-scale report portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of security configurations within Workday.
  • Experience with additional Workday modules such as Learning, Talent and Performance, Absence, and Recruitment is beneficial.
