The Job:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a Temporary Team Leader for a period of 3-6 months.
This role will be to supervise a small team of Administrators and support the Operations Manager in their offices based in central Bristol.
Responsibilities will include:
- Line management of up to Administrators including performance management, career development, discipline and welfare support with HR.
- Actively manage work levels, quality and resources
- Monitor and supervise the quality and completion of tasks allocated
- Actively monitor Section MI, identify patterns/trends
- Holding regular team meetings ensuring that the team are kept informed of relevant developments and their team's progress and performance.
- Ensuring supervision meetings and appraisals are conducted.
- Support the Manager with the training and induction of new starters
- Supporting the Operations Manager in recruitment activities including shortlisting and interviewing of candidates.
The Person:
For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous experience managing an administration team.
- Good IT skills
- Leadership and people management skills and experience of line management essential
- Great people and communication skills
- The ability to understand and apply different task processes.
- Experience working in a regulated environment would be ideal but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight requirement deadlines.
- Good organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
The Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am 5pm
The Location:
Central Bristol, no car parking (some hybrid working available)
The Salary:
£16.50 per hour (£30,000)
