The Company:
We are working with a leading Legal Expenses firm that are actively looking for a Trading Underwriter to join their ranks.
The business has also won multiple awards around their service levels to clients and on how they treat and look after their staff.

The Role:
Working with various internal and external stakeholders you will specialist in legal expenses insurance. You will review and underwrite risks whilst also writing policy wordings ensuring appropriate terms for both new and existing customers.
You'll be responsible for pricing through EXCEL and presenting findings to business partners and back to teams, either in a face to face capacity or over Microsoft Teams.
The team is close knit and has an excellent work ethic but also enjoys the social aspect whilst all contributing to this high performing team.
Requirements:
- You will need an analytical skill set, ideally with experience dealing with Excel spreadsheets
- Ideally you will come from a technical insurance background
- Although LEI is preferable due to its niche nature alternative insurance backgrounds will be considered, technical claims, commercial or personal lines underwriting or reinsurance
- You will need a good eye for detail and be computer literature
- Strong Organisational and Time Management skills are essential
