The Design Coordinator role is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to contribute significantly to a mixed-use development.

Client Details

This opportunity has been newly-created as a result of ongoing growth at this award-winning, privately owned Developer. They work across new build and heritage redevelopment schemes. Their teams work collaboratively across commercial, technical, and build enabling quick decision making and a positive working environment.

Description

As the Design Coordinator you will work with the Design Manager on this mixed-use development to deliver townhouses, apartments, and commercial space. Based in Bristol or Bath, your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordination with the design consultants for the delivery of stage 4 information

- Support of subcontractor procurement and the technical coordination of design information

- Assisting the build team with site queries and generating solutions as required

- Managing statutory approvals and 3rd party approvals

Profile

A successful Design Coordinator should have:

  • A degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a developer or contractor.
  • A background in working on RIBA stages 3 onwards.
  • Residential experience and RC Frame experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and good commercial awareness
