We are representing a client in the Freight Forwarding industry who is seeking a Customer Relationship Operator to join their team in Avonmouth, Bristol. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of road exports for our customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
Day to day of the role:
- Manage all aspects of road exports, from issuing quotes to arranging shipments.
- Handle the customs clearance process and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with customers, overseas partners, and internal teams.
- Provide continuous support and training to develop skills and knowledge within the freight forwarding industry.
- Operate within a fast-paced office environment and adapt to the dynamic needs of the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service environment, either face-to-face or over the phone.
- Prior experience in Road Freight and/or Exports is preferable.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- An interest in the movement of goods/freight.
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship for work permits not available).
