Morson are recruiting exclusively for our Aerospace client who require a Skilled Spray Painter at their site in the Filton area of Bristol. Contract is initially for 6 months although likely to be long-term .

Night Shift £24.80 rising to £25.83 per hour PAYE. Please enquire re hours 



If you hold a recognised Level 3 Qualification in Spray Painting or Body Repair you could be part of this innovative business!

A rolling contract will be offered, viewed as a long term prospect working within a team of 4 painters tasked with the spraying of various aircraft wing components and parts.

The Paint Sprayer will operate as a multi skilled, flexible worker.

Tasks

Spraying, paint touch up and cleaning aircraft parts requiring the use of:

Power tools

Solvents and primer paints

Key deliverables

Ensure parts are produced on a right first time basis

Ensure calibrated equipment is within date

Responsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP System

Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader

Adhering to the requirements of Quality Procedures

To hold first party inspection approval (M02 status is subject to obtaining a stamp approval a rate increase will apply when stamp achieved)

 

Key Skills

A recognised paint spraying indentured apprenticeship/level 3 qualification and ideally have manufacturing experience in a factory environment.

Ability to work to standard operating procedures

Self motivated team player with good communication skills
