My client, a well-established planning consultancy with offices across the UK, is seeking a Senior to AD Town Planner to join their dynamic team based in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Town Planner with substantial experience, particularly in the residential or retail sectors. They are looking for someone to bring creativity and drive to their planning projects, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
The company has been operating for nearly 20 years, delivering a wide range of planning services across a variety of sectors. Their consultants are experts in helping clients navigate planning challenges, from initial site assessments through to long-term asset management. They have worked on hundreds of projects, honing their expertise and knowledge in delivering successful and sustainable schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and lead on planning projects, particularly within residential or retail sectors.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to devise practical and developable solutions.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet both regulatory and client requirements.
- Draw upon extensive experience to provide evidence-based, well-considered planning advice.
- Work alongside a team of passionate and driven professionals, promoting a supportive and collaborative work culture.
Key Requirements:
- Substantial experience as a Town Planner, ideally with a focus on residential or retail projects.
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- MRTPI qualification is desirable, but not essential.
