Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're working with a dynamic consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Bristol. The Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering diverse planning projects, including renewables, residential (with a focus on senior housing), and commercial schemes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Managing and negotiating planning applications to secure approvals.
  • Conducting planning appraisals and research to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Engaging in public consultations, committee meetings, and stakeholder negotiations.
  • Taking ownership of projects and supporting junior team members as needed.

This role offers the opportunity to build on your technical expertise while contributing to high-profile projects across the region.

About You:

We're looking for a proactive and professional Senior Planner who thrives on delivering successful outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A RTPI-accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered membership of the RTPI (or significant progress towards it).
  • Proven experience in managing planning projects within the public or private sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • A deep understanding of the UK planning system and legislation.
