Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're working with a dynamic consultancy seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Bristol. The Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering diverse planning projects, including renewables, residential (with a focus on senior housing), and commercial schemes. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading on the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
Managing and negotiating planning applications to secure approvals.
Conducting planning appraisals and research to provide expert advice to clients.
Engaging in public consultations, committee meetings, and stakeholder negotiations.
Taking ownership of projects and supporting junior team members as needed.

About You:

We're looking for a proactive and professional Senior Planner who thrives on delivering successful outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

A RTPI-accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
Chartered membership of the RTPI (or significant progress towards it).
Proven experience in managing planning projects within the public or private sector.
Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
A deep understanding of the UK planning system and legislation.
