About the Role:

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative planning solutions across diverse projects. You'll work closely with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to navigate the planning process, from early-stage consultation through to securing planning permissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert planning advice and support to clients, ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Lead and contribute to planning applications, pre-application discussions, and appeals.
  • Engage with local authorities, communities, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and drive project success.
  • Prepare and present planning reports, statements, and supporting documents.

About You:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with membership of the RTPI (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in planning, preferably within a consultancy or local authority setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
