We are actively working with a well-established, multidisciplinary property and planning consultancy, seeking a talented Town Planner, Senior Town Planner, or Principal Town Planner to join their dynamic team in Bristol on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects across residential, commercial, change of use, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and more.
As part of their growing team, which is now one of the largest in Bristol, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning services to a diverse range of clients. Whether you are a Planner just starting your career or an experienced Principal Planner, they offer opportunities to grow, develop, and take on new challenges within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
路Planner: Assist with planning applications, research, site appraisals, and liaise with local authorities.
路Senior Planner: Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals, and EIA reports, alongside mentoring junior staff.
路Principal Planner: Lead complex projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while mentoring and guiding the team.
Key Requirements:
路Planner: A strong understanding of UK planning systems with good research and communication skills.
路Senior Planner: MRTPI accreditation (or working towards) with at least 2 years of post-graduation experience. Proven experience in planning applications and EIA work.
路Principal Planner: MRTPI accredited with 3+ years of experience and a strong background in managing large projects, business development, and client management.
