The Company:

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading UK commercial and residential real estate consultancy who are looking to add a Town Planner to the team in Bristol. The planning team provide consultancy services to developers, investors, landowners, house builders and the public sector across the region. With a team in each of the major English cities and regions, the team can draw on a deep knowledge pool across the service line along with the wider urban design, development consultancy and regeneration teams in Bristol.

The work carried out by the planning team is diverse and rewarding, having direct impact on clients business.

The services provided as a Town Planner:

  • Dealing with planning policy and site appraisals;
  • Preparing and managing planning applications;
  • Regeneration Initiatives;
  • Preparation of evidence base documents;
  • Local plan promotion and monitoring;
  • Stakeholder engagement and public consultation support;
  • Economic and employment impact assessments;
  • Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy negotiations;
  • Expert witness / planning appeals.

This role would be suitable and appropriate for:

  • An RTPI accredited planning graduate;
  • An Assistant Planner with some working experience;
  • A recently qualified planner.
