An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a motivated and skilled Town Planner to join a leading planning consultancy based in Bristol. As part of a dynamic and innovative team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of urban development, working on a variety of high-profile and diverse projects!

As a part of a leading consultancy in the UK, you will be given the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of planning projects covering various sectors and dealing with a variety of clients, with a focus on renewables, residential (including specialist housing for senior people), and commercial (employment and town centre) development.

Duties of the Role:

You'll be undertaking public consultation, preparing, submitting and monitoring planning applications, as well as collating evidence for appeals, negotiating applications and also moving towards managing your own projects. We are with you every step of the way and we offer opportunities for learning and development to help support your career goals and ambitions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Chartered member of the RTPI or working towards the APC.
  • Previous experience in researching, preparing, submitting planning applications, statements and appraisals or experience in dealing with pre-application enquiries, determining applications, and preparing Officer Reports.
  • Experience in planning practice (public or private).
