Are you ready to take your planning career to the next level? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Town Planner to join a market-leading team in Bristol. The team provides expert planning services to a diverse range of clients across the South West, working on some of the region's most significant and impactful projects.

The Company:

Our reach and expertise are extensive, with a strong pipeline of projects that span residential development, major industrial and logistics schemes, retail repurposing and town centre regeneration, urban mixed-use and commercial initiatives, as well as rural and landowner estate portfolios. Our clients include high-profile landowners, private individuals, institutions, developers, promoters, national and regional housebuilders, commercial and leisure operators, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planning appraisals of land, buildings, and development concepts.
  • Prepare comprehensive planning applications, including detailed planning statements.
  • Promote land through Local Plan processes, including representation at Examinations in Public.
  • Write and present clear, data-driven reports with relevant planning recommendations.
  • Liaise and negotiate effectively with planning officers, consultee organisations, and third parties.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: RTPI-accredited degree or master's in Planning or a related field.
  • Professional Membership: Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in planning role within the public or private sector.
