Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical advice and expertise in advising clients, primarily in the private sector, on complex legal matters.
  • Draft and advise on commercial contracts, such as distribution and agency agreements, and franchise arrangements.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts and provide regulatory advice.
  • Support broader transactions, such as hive-downs and digitalisation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' industry sectors, including retail, food & drink, media, sport, hotels, leisure, healthcare, and financial services.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Relevant experience working on non-contentious commercial contracts.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex and varied workload effectively.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Experience in leading others to develop their skills and knowledge.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in commercial contracts within the retail, food & drink, media, sport, hotels, leisure, healthcare, or financial services sectors.
