About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established law firm with a wealth of experience and a national reputation for excellence in the Property sector. With offices across the country, our client offers a range of highly specialist legal services to businesses and individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for all aspects of Commercial Property related transactions, ensuring the smooth running of work files.
  • Work closely with the Head of Department, Director, and a support team to handle sale and purchase transactions, commercial leases, and other related documents.
  • Draught and negotiate contracts, transfers, and commercial business leases.
  • Respond to property title enquiries and enquiries from other legal representatives.
  • Oversee completion and submission of SDLT returns and registrations at Land Registry.
  • Actively promote and develop the services of the Commercial Property department and the wider firm.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of junior colleagues and support staff.
  • Achieve billing targets in line with departmental goals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in Commercial Property transactions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and leases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to develop and build client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and friendly team environment.
