Our client is a leading law firm with a dynamic and highly regarded property team. They specialise in commercial, residential, and buy to let property transactions. With a dedicated and supportive team, they pride themselves on providing excellent legal services to their clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of various property types
  • Conducting due diligence, title investigations, and preparing transaction documents
  • Advising clients on risks, benefits, and compliance issues in property transactions
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases for landlords and tenants
  • Providing guidance on landlord and tenant obligations, property maintenance, and dilapidation matters
  • Overseeing legal aspects of business asset purchases and sales
  • Drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements
  • Providing strategic advice on site acquisitions and development
  • Advising clients on their rights and obligations as landlords or tenants
  • Handling leasehold enfranchisement matters
  • Drafting and negotiating option agreements and overage agreements
  • Managing property portfolios and providing asset management advice
  • Advising clients on property finance transactions
  • Assisting clients with residential property investments

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a range of commercial property transactions
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
  • Excellent client-facing skills and a commitment to high standards of client service

Desirable:

  • Possess a client/contacts following
  • Working knowledge of case management systems
  • Computer and software literate with good keyboard skills
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional development
