Commercial Associate Solicitor – South West
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor to join a highly respected Legal 200 firm at associate level. Working closely with an experienced Partner, you'll support a broad client base — from large corporate bodies to SMEs and owner-managed businesses — across a wide range of industry sectors.
The RoleYou will be responsible for advising on a wide variety of commercial matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements such as IT contracts and franchise documentation
- Advising on intellectual property matters, including licensing
- Reviewing, updating, and advising on a range of general commercial contracts
- Supporting clients with risk management, compliance, and commercial strategy
- Contributing to business development and maintaining long-term client relationships
About YouWe’re looking for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a client-facing role. You will ideally be:
- A qualified solicitor or legal executive with demonstrable experience in commercial law
- Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Skilled in contract drafting and negotiation
- Comfortable building rapport with clients across various sectors
- Proactive in developing business opportunities and client relationships
