  • Sharing knowledge and collaborating as part of a cross-office collegiate team, including assisting with the supervision of more junior lawyers.

As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to lead (under supervision) on tasks and smaller projects and may have the chance to lead and manage others in the team, either directly or on a matrix basis.

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Registered Foreign Lawyer) (or equivalent) with approximately 2-6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A good level of experience across two or more areas of the antitrust spectrum, including merger control, competition investigations, compliance programmes, behavioural advice, National Security and Investment Act analyses and notifications, compliance training, and ideally some experience in competition litigation and subsidy control.
  • Broader experience in commercial and/or regulatory matters (e.g., consumer protection investigations) or a willingness to develop multi-skills.
  • Experience working with clients in sectors such as retail & consumer goods, financial services, digital, future energy, leisure, real estate, and government would be beneficial.
  • Forward-thinking with excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with exposure to business development and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Skilled in developing a deep understanding of clients' business needs and markets.
