  • The Bristol team includes 2 construction partners, 2 senior associates, 2 solicitors, a trainee, and a paralegal. 
  • They seek a construction lawyer with 2+ years of experience to join their supportive, busy environment. 
  • The ideal candidate should possess a mixed skill set in both contentious and non-contentious areas and be interested in diverse, high-quality work across sectors such as waste, infrastructure, higher education, health, and commercial property development. 
  • Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and advising on standard and bespoke construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, IChemE, IET, and ACA. 
  • Despite its size, the team is highly effective, assisting clients throughout the construction process in both private and public sectors, including property developers, funders, investors, contractors, and consultants. 
  • The work ranges from advising on minor issues to managing entire contract matrices for new commercial property developments, ensuring varied tasks. 
  • The role is sociable and interactive, reflecting the connection between construction law, commercial property transactions, and broader projects within the firm. 
  • The candidate should enjoy teamwork, collaborating with colleagues across offices to provide clients with the firm's renowned seamless "one-stop-shop" service.
